Grasslees Reserve
Food Trucks with a site at the Northern end of the event (numbered in the 700's range) will need to meet at Grasslees Reserve before they will be permitted to enter the event.
Your arrival time
Your allocated arrival time is the time you need to arrive at Grasslees Reserve for marshalling.
This is not necessarily the time you will enter the event. Once the food trucks have arrived, our marshals will coordinate the onward movement into the event in small groups, following the planned entry sequence.
Please arrive on time and follow the directions of the marshalling team.
Step 1: Getting to Grasslees Reserve
Grasslees Reserve is located at the Northern end of Tawa, enter via Davies Street. Drive straight towards Tawa Pool, looking out for our marshal wearing a hi-vis vest.
If you're coming from the South (eg Wellington City or Lower Hutt) you are best to turn right at the BP, cross the railway lines, turn left at the roundabout and travel along Duncan Street, turning left into McLellan Street then left again into Davies Street.
Step 2: Check in with the marshals
When you arrive:
Follow the designated access route.
Check in with the marshalling team.
Follow instructions about where to wait.
Remain in the designated area until you are directed to proceed.
Step 3: Enter the event
Food trucks will be released from the marshalling area in small groups, following the planned entry sequence. You will be entering the event via the Main Road / Surrey St roundabout.
Please do not leave the marshalling area or attempt to enter the event independently unless directed by a marshal.
Once directed, you will turn left int McLellen Street, left on to Main Road, and then straight through the roundabout by Baptist Church.
Vehicle Parking
If parking is required after unhooking your trailer, there are a limited number of carparks available at the Baptist Church (at the roundabout) available for your use
Important Reminders
Your allocated arrival time is your Grasslees arrival time.
Do not arrive early.
Follow all marshal instructions.
Allow sufficient time to reach Grasslees Reserve before your allocated arrival time.
